Hi,

I need to upgrade from a hand mixer to a stand mixer. A few friends have suggesting getting Viking Mixer. It's a new name to me. Which brand is better?

I bake and frost cupcakes and cakes for a hobby but I do a lot of it. With a Kitchen Aid I was thinking I would need a six quart mixer.

Thanks for the help.

I would like to know too. I have a kitchen aid, but I have thought about the viking cause it is bigger.

Viking is a larger mixer. I have 2 KA one 4 1/2 and a 6 gt. I love my KA have not tried the viking but hear the folks that have one love it.

I have never used a Viking, but I know both have stellar reputations. I don't think you could go wrong with either.
