I used rice paper sometimes to put images on cakes - trace them first on rice paper and then lay the rice aper directly on top of butterceram icing and then "fill in" by piping buttercream on top. WHY does it not always dissolve completely? At a pice of cake from my nephew's birthday party and you could actually SEE the rice paper as the cake was cut. What am I doing wrong??
