Good afternoon, all.

I usually do cupcakes and cakes for family and friends. I did sell a few cupcakes to non-family members but now i have a quote for a baby shower cake for a non-family member. I just need some help with pricing this cake. It's a 6 inch and 8 inch. Also, how many people will it realistically feed? There are so many cake serving charts and I'm so confused.

An 8" & a 6" will feed 32 according to my party servings chart. If you are doing this in fondant decorated with booties like the picture, I would charge no less than $100.

Thanks for the input. Which party serving size chart are you using?

That's based on Wilton's party serving chart.....

It's a sweet cake, and the decoration is simple, so Iwould charge my basic fondant price per serving - $3.50. I personally quote that size cake as serving between 30-36 servings, and charge for 36, so my price would be $125 (rounded). Hope that helps!
