Hi CC'ers,

I'm looking into buying a set of edible markers to try some new designs.
Does anyone have any pointers on good brands, or what brands to avoid? Are all edible markers pretty much the same? Does anyone know of any good deals on sets of them?

Thanks icon_smile.gif

I have the Wilton set of neon fine tips, but haven't used them yet! I'm afraid they'll get all dried out or guncky if I do. Geez, I'm sure a big help!!

I've used Wilton, and I wasn't too impressed...

I wasn't very impressed with Wilton either. I haven't tried any others.

I have Foodoodler's fine points and regular Americolor. I usually reach for the Americolors first--the colors are brighter and the points softer, so they don't dig into the fondant/gum paste.

I do like the fine points for some work on faces, but I still often use a toothpick or pin and some paste color for things like eyelashes, etc.

I've had Wilton and Betty Crocker and hated both.

I didn't care for the wilton... I have used Ateco and Americolor and both had worked well.
