I have a cake that I am doing this weekend (my second paid cake!!!) for a friend at work. Its a pretty basic card/vegas/gambling cake with a red/black BC rope border around the base and top edge of the cake, card symbols made of red/black fondant on white vanilla BC and two red dice sitting on the top.

Now my concern is the red/black bleeding into the white. icon_confused.gif I was going to bake and do the white frosting on thursday, pipe the borders and put on the fondant on friday and give it to him Saturday afternoon. I know that I will need to use a ton of food gel to get nice red and black so how likely is it that bleeding is going to be an issue? I guess I can live with a little, but I would really rather there be none. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif Anyone have any experience with this?

p.s.
I just wanted to say thats to anyone who has a cake posting in the vegas photo galleries because did look at all of them and it really helped me to get some ideas fast!
