So I have been asked to make a cupcake tower for a wedding. There will be 120 cupcakes (buttercream icing with a small royal icing flower) and then a 6" or 8" cake (coverd in fondant, ribbon on the bottom and a few flowers on the top of the cake). I am unsure of what to charge.... any advice? I saw someone had done something similar and they only charged $250 (that seemed low to me??)

Thanks in advance! icon_smile.gif

For a wedding I would charge $2.50 each for the cupcakes and $4.00 per serving for the small cake on top (for a simple design fondant) a 6" would be 12 servings =$48 and an 8" would be 24 servings =$96.

So ...
120 cupcakes + 6" = $348
+ 8" = $396

I think I am probably on the mid price level for my area so it depends on what your local area pricing dictates.

That is just for the cake & cuppies.. It depends on what you use for your tower what the charge would be for that and if you would need to deliver & set up you might charge for that also.
