I'm making a two layer topsy turvy cake using 6in pans for the top layer and 10in for the bottom. This is going to sit on top of a 12X6in dummy cake (not a topsy turvy). How much fondant should I make to cover them? I also plan on putting star, circle and square fondant cutouts on it.

Hope this makes sense! Thanks!

If you look through this post Michele says she estimates that it makes 3 1/2 pounds of fondant.

I made my Winne the Pooh cake (which was 4", 7" and 10") and still had leftovers.
