Hi,

I have a bride who has commissioned me for this cake.
I've never done brushed embroidery so I am going to be practicing over the next few weeks. I know how this technique is done.

I'm wondering about the rest of this cake- the edges along the tops? (A crimper? But how would I do this?)

The color?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a white cake stand like this one of 12 or 14"?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
LL

I don't know if you have a TJMaxx/HomeGoods store near you, but I have found beautiful cake stands in their Home Goods store in all sorts of colors and different materials (glass, metal, with fringes or glass beads) and very inexpensive.

i think the top is a crimper - kinda like tweezers. it makes sense when you see them. or you could do a fondant rope instead, a bit bulkier.
the green colour looks like just the smallest bit of green mixed in.
