To make one of those fondant cakes that looks like a slice of cake ... any suggestions on covering this with fondant ... would it be along the same lines as when covering a square cake and you attach/cover the corners first ???
Also if anyone has done this type of cake I would love to see your pics !!!

I haven't done one myself. I would think that it would be the same but just in case I will give you a bump so maybe someone experienced in it can help.

tonedna that is an awesome cake !!! Love you videos by the way !!! I was thinking of something like the top layer of the pic I enclosed only bigger as in the slice would be the size of a 10 or 12 inch cake

lol..thats so funny!...
I did my sides first and then my top. ANd trim any excess with an x-acto knife.
