I just wanted to thank everyone who answered all my questions about the wedding cake I did a couple weeks ago, especially the questions about size/servings. The person cutting the cake cut the slices realllly small and we had way more cake than we needed but better to have too much than not enough. The cake, for the most part, was a success! It had a few flaws but I really don't think anyone noticed. My biggest disappointment was the dots on the bottom tier. I mis-measured and ended up with not enough dots. It looks a little funny but the bride was happy and that is what counts the most. Everyone loved the cake, said it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. Even the staff at the venue, who has eaten a lot of wedding cake, said it was the best. That made my night! (I use Betty Crocker mix with the extender recipe found here and buttercream dream for all my cakes and they are always a hit.)
