I am making a 3d nemo cake this weekend. I want to cover it with fondant. Has anyone made one before and do you have any tips on how to do it? thanks

I haven't made one but I would probably try to cover it with a single sheet of fondant, orange, and then add pieces for the stripes, face, etc.

Do use a single sheet of orange fondant like previous answer says. carve the body of Nemo & use fondant or gum paste for fins ( let them set etc..) and attach separately rather than carve them. I am making a dolphin cake for my daughters birthday party this weekend & I am doing that for the body & then attaching the top fin separately.
