If you subscribe to ACD, there were two articles in there (in 2007 or 200. One from Nicholas Lodge, the other from Bronwen, on how they make hydrangeas. Those are the instructions I used.

if you have the cutter and veiner, and see scotts instructions, that is all you need... i love to make hydrangea's. i have his dvd's . it is like sitting in the room with him... and he is so funny on these dvd's
