I have a heating core from the Wilton 3D teddy bear cake. My question is can I use that heating core for the 14 inch circle pan X 3 inches tall or do I need to purchase an additional heating core.
Thanks Deb F

I don't see what the difference would be from one heating core to another. However, I think they're just more stuff that Wilton tris to sell you. In 40+ years of baking, I've NEVER used a heating core and don't plan to start now. Just turn your oven temp down.

Use your flower nail, grease it well and set it in the middle of the pan, nail end up of course. Works like a charm and only leaves a tiny hole. I actually use 2 spaced apart evenly when my pan is 14" or larger.
