My question is when I am transportint a cake in my car I was wondering if wrapping the cake up in the wrapping that you make gift baskets with? It would just look like a gift wrapped cake. It that okay to do?

Thanks

Morning.. The only problem I have when I did that was the icing & the clear paper would hit each other and I would have icing on the paper.. This is what I do on all of my cake box orders.. I wrap the box in big wire ribbon /bow. Make sure you get the wire kind, it is easier to move, I try to match the ribbon the them of cake.. I think it just add's more of a personal touch, then just your card on the box.. This is one from Christmas.
