I'm trying some wedding shower cookies and the outline (thicker Antonias74) is turning yellow in places?? What did I do wrong and what can I do differently? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks to all and have a great weekend!!

my royal icing turned yellow not long ago. i made the no fail sugar cookie but added a bit extra butter. the cookies lost their shape whilst baking, and the day after i had finished icing them, my icing started to absorb the butter (i think) and turned yellow. it was reallly hot weather at the time aswell which i think didn't help. not sure if this is similar to your situation but i hope that helps icon_smile.gif

Did your meringue powder dissolve completely?

This has also happened to me and someone here on CC suggested that I add Americolour Brite White to my RI. Seems to be working.
