Hey CC!

I am making a cake for an allergy child. He is allergic to eggs and dairy products. Has anyone ever heard of Fleischmann's margerine?? It is dairy free and safe for him, could I use margerine in buttercream??thanks!

I can't use butter so I substitute with Fleischmann's all the time.

I have customers who order dairy-free cakes regularly. I'm one of the only places in town who will do it. I use milk-free margarine in both cake and frosting, and oat milk as liquid in both cake and frosting.

Takes like @$$.

But I guess if you are allergic to milk you might already be used to the taste.....
