I am interested in a cake business from home but cannot find any information on exactly where to begin. I live in Kentucky and according to the form provided May 08 on this site, Kentucky is questionable on allowing this type of establishment. All I can find is "farmer's market" type guidelines. Do I just contact a local government office to inquire? Business owners please help!

I would check with you local Health Dep. first...different counties w/in the state will have different rules....
