Okay, everyone, need your advice. What do consider the best-tasting AND crusting vanilla buttercream?
Usually, I use "Buttercream Dream"--AgentCakeBaker's recipe. I love it--but it doesn't crust! Now I need something that crusts and tastes good too--not to sugary sweet and not too buttery. Any suggestions?
I like mine

Crusts, not too sweet, not too buttery, creamy, YUM!
Wow, this is a difficult question...there are so many good recipes on here.
I like both Sugarshacks and Indydebi's equally....and they both crust extremely well. I find that Indydebi's is not quite a sweet...but, again they are both a 10 on my cakedar....
Hmm, so that's two for indydebi... and I don't think I posted this ten minutes ago! LOL, ok guys, keep em coming. Thanks!
Sugarshack's Buttercream is perfect everytime and the thing that I like the best about it is that it gives you specific measurements for the ingredients to use--I've done Indydebi's recipe and it's good, but the smoothness of Sugarshack's makes it a dream to work with--the amount of time spent in frustration while attempting to smooth has drastically decreased with this recipe, oh, and it tastes great!!
