Hi, I'm workning on a potty cake for a kid right now, potty training. For the top lid, Im making it out of a cake board, but do I ice it or what, Im afraid fondant will tear, cuz the lid will be sitting up. Thanks all

I just did one, and I used a cake board and then spread a little BC on it and placed it on rolled out fondant. I carefully folded it over and worked the creases out on the back. I had just a few left near the bottom, but it was hidden with the lid sitting up.
