I can conquer almost any recipe but making fondant is killing me. I tried almost all the recipes here. I even bought Carries Making Fabulous Fonant DVD to work along with. First problem-pouring in the liguid and mixing-becomes crumbly. Ok, made a smaller batch and got it somewhat smooth but then the next day when I went to roll it out it just fell apart on me. This has happened with Michele Fosters and other various book recipes. Help, this is driving me crazy! and I especially like the taste of homemade fondant and the fact that it is so much cost effective.

I make a semi-homemade fondant that is very easy to whip up and tastes great. It performs like a dream, too.

wow, i would def try what jenniferMI says, her cakes are flawless!

i will add a couple of cents (my cakes are NO WHERE near hers) but I do like the MMF recipe from here. its just a couple ingredients, super easy and super cheap to make. only add about half the ps, and then slowly knead in more as it needs it until you get a good consistency
