I use a white cake mix, add 1 box of instant white chocolate pudding mix, and 2 tbsp of white chocolate liquor. Then I usually add semisweet chocolate chips to it, it tends to intensify the other flavors in the cake.

Can you add chocolate flavoring instead of vanilla? I love TJ's idea! Yum!

I know someone who puts 3 x the amount of white chocolate in her recipe.

I tried the white chocolate version of the WASC a couple of years ago, and that tasted pretty good!

TJCanadian,

Your recipe sounds delicious!

Do you melt the white chocolate chips before adding them to the batter or do you just mix them in?

What brand of white chocolate liquor do you use?

I just put unmelted semisweet chips in, and I use Lady Godiva White Chocolate Liquor. icon_smile.gif It is good.

So you're using regular CHOCOLATE chips, (you said semi-sweet) or are you using WHITE CHOCOLATE chips? I'm confused. It doesn't take much, lol!!

So sorry for the confusion, I use white cake, white chocolate instant pudding mix, white chocolate liquor, and regular chocolate semi sweet chips. icon_biggrin.gif

I have a book by DeDe Wilson and her white chocolate cake recipe is to die for (if you don't mind making it from scratch). If you want the recipe, let me know or you can pick up her book...it's "The wedding cake book"
