I just purchased 3 vials of Wilton Pearl Dust; green, purple and gold. On the purple and green, it says it can be used on fondant, gum paste and royal icing. However on the gold it just says it can be used on fondant and gumpaste. So, my question is, does anyone know any reason that the gold pearl dust cannot be used on royal? THANKS!!!

im sure it will be fine to be used on RI too. dont worry about the label, probably just a mistype.

I've used the gold pearl dust on RI before for some cookies with christmas bells on them. It came out fine. I agree with sweetcakes, probably just a misprint.
