Duck Hunting Cake... Camo?

I will be making a cake for my boss & he loves to go duck hunting. I was thinking about doing one tier in camo. How do I do that/ Any one have any ideas or tips? I saw a few pics of ppl who have done them & they look like fondant.

I've done a few in BC and it really is easier than it looks. All I did was apply different colored "blobs" around the cake, waited for it to crust and then used the "Melvira" method on it. That smoothed it right down and made the camo seemless.

I'll attatch a pic so you can see the end result.

oh wow! looks awesome! very neat. but it sounds super easy but if i think about it, the image in my mind doesnt seem like it would come out smooth. lol knowing me (newbie) i will make it more difficult than what it really suppose to be. i will see if i can practice today. any extra tips?

i dont have the roller but i have the one that i use for my fondant. is that ok?
