I have a pound cake recipe that I like (from the Cakelove cookbook) that I always bake in a bundt pan. Is it possible to use a pound cake recipe and use it in regular cake pans? How about cupcakes? How would I adjust the baking time?

Thanks.

Yes, you can bake a pound cake recipe in layer pans. The baking time would be less. When I bake one in a bundt pan, I bake it for 1 hr. 20 minutes. If I make a double batch of pound cake and bake in ab 11x15, I still bake it for 1 hr. 20 min. If I use layer pans, I bake it for about 50 minutes and check it. Sometimes it's done and sometimes it's not. I do it all the time. I'm not sure about cupcakes. I've never done pound cake cupcakes.
