how long will cake balls last if they are dipped in chocolate or candy coating? I saw Bakerellas Christmas pops and they are adorable. I don't want them to be stale by the time I serve them or give them in a gift basket...

Also, has anyone used sweetened condensed milk as the binder...I just saw this posted in the recipes section and wondered if anyone has tried this in their cake balls. Reading about the SCM made my teeth hurt thinking about the sweetness, but maybe they are great...I just don't want to waste a can of the stuff without some feedback...I am basically a very cheap person icon_rolleyes.gif

Really? Me too. That SCM is expensive. I just finished eating some cake balls. If I am going to go expensive, I use booze as my binder. At least when I eat them I feel better about the overhead cost! I'd also like to know how long the last chocolate coated. I assume in the fridge?
