I have a customer that has a one year old with many problems. I have made her baptism and 1st birthday cake. I told her about this wonderful forum that is full of loving people. I asked if I could ask for prayers and here is what her Mother wrote:
Karolina was born at 35 weeks and since then she has had problems. Although she has overcome an extreme case of acid reflux, a hole in her heart, an extreme milk protein allergy, and intensive eye surgery, Karolina continues to suffer without a diagnosis.
The doctors believed she might have cerebral palsy, but they have ruled that out because she can grab things and uses both sides of her body equally and has good muscle tone.
You see, Karolina isn't developing her gross motor skills and her speech is delayed. She is afraid of movement and therefore, even after three months of physical therapy, won't crawl and barely stands even though she is already 12 months.
The neurologist has decided to have her sedated and do an mri of her brain to check her central nervous system. He is afraid that she may never be able to speak or walk. While it is too early to know that for sure, they will learn more by looking at her brain.
Please lift her up in prayer-we really appreciate it.
I will definitely be praying for little Karolina.....and I will pray that God will show how powerful He is and how He answers the petitions of those He loves. God Bless her!
Prayer isn't my thing, bit I will keep this child in my thoughts and project all of my positive energy her way!
Thank you to everyone so far. I am going to keep bumping this because Karolina needs as many prayers as I can round up.
Linda
I will continue praying for this precious little girl and family. Please keep us updated.
As the parent of a son with Special Needs I will definitely hold her and her family up in prayers!
If Jesus can raise the dead how much more one who is alive! I will be praying specially for Karolina, her case will be testimony of God's power and greatness in Jesus name!!!!!!!! Tell her mum to just BELIEVE.
Heavenly Father,
I lift a prayer up for Karolina. In your word, You say, in Psalm 103:3, "You will heal all our diseases." I ask that you give Karolina's family the FAITH and the strength to go on when they feel like they can't go any furhter. I ask that you remind them of who You are and that there is nohting that You can't do.
By His strips, Karolina is HEALED!!! Before you know it, Karolina will be walking and talking.
I will continue to say this prayer and tell them rest of the prayer warriors that I know to continue to lift Karolina up in prayer.
Marry CHRISTmas!!!!
What a terrible ordeal for such a little one. I feel for her and just as much for her parents.
I'm not religious, but wish them all well.
I will keep her in my prayers.
Isaiah 54:10, "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you."
Please keep Karolina and her family in your thoughts and prayers especially during this holiday season.
