what is the best way to stick either fondant balls or the bought candy balls onto a fondant covered cake? last time, i rolled fondant balls and glued them with water, but a few of them kept falling off. the water also leaves the fondant shiny.

I just use water, but a little dab does it. Maybe your using too much water? Even a little bc will do.

you can also use tylose glue (tylose powder mixed with water) or gumpaste glue (i take a small piece of gumpaste and mash it with water to get a paste consistency). those usually hold fondant balls on really well.

Thank you so much for the ideas. I have a wedding cake the middle of December that has nothing but those little balls. It is pretty, but I sure don't like to do it. I will surely try out these ideas before hand. Thanks again for the help!

A little piping gel or some corn syrup will work too.. icon_smile.gif
