I have seen people use mini marshmallows to make popcorn. I was wondering what the trick is to get them shaped like popcorn and colored like it... Thanks y'all!!!

I have not done this but I read a thread here one day that said you take mini marshmellows and snip an x on top then you take a bit of food color gel diluted with clear alcohol and paint the centers to resemble the kernal.

I would try to melt a little with one of those torches (like for a flambe) it adds a little bit of color and makes it smoother like.
