I am looking for a recipe for "Whippy Icing" that I have found on both cakes up north as well as here in Florida, typically in the bakery. When ordering cakes at Kroger or Publix, you typically have the choice of ordering buttercream or whippy.
Anyone have a recipe similar to the whippy? It's a lighter, less sweet icing. My fiance really likes it and I'd rather make his birthday cake than order it from the store.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Lora
