Ya know all those Hershey's Kisses that just lay around, uneaten? (ya, right! icon_lol.gif )

I just used some Mocha BC (lighter brown than the Kiss) and piped it with a large round tip on the flat side of the Kiss, and left a little peak so that it looks like an acorn cap. To let them sit while the BC sets, I placed them (pointy-side of Kiss facing down) into the grid of a small chilled wire cooling rack and that's that. I'm so darned excited!!

Now I'm off to teach my kids how to use a leaf as a chocolate mold. (They're each making their own 4" cake today in Autumn theme)

No problem! I ended up trying a few different things on the BC caps. Some accented with sanding sugar, and then I froze other acorns and painted the frozen BC a gold color. I'm going to throw together a Harvest cake for my husband's office just to I can use these babies!

Hey Paul and Peter, I love the Westies on your website...such handsome dogs!
