I was wondering what typeof flavorings do you use and where do you buy them. I purchase some of mine from the cake supply store. Mostly are artifical though. DO you use pure flavorings or imitations? I know pure is much more expensive but it sure does taste better. Do you buy in bulk or as needed? These little bottles I buy are breaking my up. LOL

I buy mine from a local church women's group and I believe they are artificial flavorings. I get a large bottle of clear vanilla, clear almond, and lemon for $2.50 each. The brand name is Happy Home. Some people swear by the pure flavorings and some make their own from alcohol and vanilla beans.

I only use pure extracts, flavorings and oils. the imitation kind taste obviously of chemicals and I can't bear to pass that along to my customers. I usually buy in bulk from my supplier. I don't really have any particular brands I am loyal to, just so long as the quality and taste are good.
