Sorry. I'm new and I really don't know much about cake decorating or what not.

I'm 15, going to be turning 16 next month and I'm wanting to make a 3D cake of this.

Pretty much it's a big cat, with another little cat on top. ( I LOVE cats)

I wouldn't think it would be that hard, but if someone could help me explain how to set it up or what not, it wouldn't help a lot.

By the way, My family is pretty poor, so I can't get all these expensive tools and what not.

I wouldn't make it really big, but big enough to feed atl east 10 people?

Thanks again!

Hi and happy early birthday!!

If you can get to a Michaels store or any store that would sell the ball cake pan you could use that for the bottom cat. The pan only costs about $11 and usually they put out coupons for 20-50% off a single item. If you can get that pan your almost there! If not, if you have normal pans you would just have to kind of carve a circle from your cakes. The little kitten on top can be a cupcake that you can frost. As far as the ears and tail well fondant would be the choice which walmart has for about $6 but you could also just be creative with paper and scissors and attach it with a toothpick. The tail maybe pipecleaners if you're ok with non-edible items being on your cake. For the eyes and mouth you can use different types of candy to create a really cute face. I think that will make a very cute sweet 16 cake! Good luck and I can't wait to see a picture of it!!

HTH,
Kim
