Has anyone done a 6" stacked on top of a 10"? I'm trying to visualize how that will look, but I can't. Or should I suggest a 7" on top of the 10". I think the 8" won't give me enough of an edge to do the decorations they want. Thanks for any insight!

I think it would look great. People to 4" differences all the time on here.

my standard wedding cakes are 14/10/6, so that's pretty normal at this end.

Thanks much! I was afraid the proportions would look funny. Appreciate the responses!

I think it would even look very cool to off-center the top one. Kind of over to the far edge and then put a spray of flowers on the other side of it. Just a thought.
