can you make an ice cream cake covered in fondant and be able to freeze it without the fondant messing up?

I'm not sure usually when fondant comes in contact with any liquid or moisture it makes the fondant sticky. I personally wouldn't do it but test it out hey you may discover something new and if so let us know.

It would be worth trying. I think once it get's cold it would stiffen up and be really hard to stretch into place.

I think serving would be difficult because of the stickness when the fondant gets wet.

I don't think you'd even be able to get the fondant on the cake before it becomes a mess. The ice cream will already be soft and melting.

My biggest question: Why do you want to do this?
