So I'm making a cake today for my nieces birthday, they wanted banana and strawberry filling.. So i assembled it and it is so tall. what do i do to trim it down??
You could put dowels or straws in it to help support the height
Is the cake already assembled? How tall is tall? If it is already assembled, I would just dowel it for support... depends on how tall it is...
I am going to go measure it
ok dont have a measuring tape, but it is tall.
Sometimes with alot of filling its nice to torte the layers and have three thinner layers of cake and two thinner layers of filling..but...anyway...if I were you I'd just ice and decorate it now. Otherwise you risk messing it up with the filling already assembled.
just will do.
