I found this site (not sure how) with some really amazing portrait cookies. On the left side of the page you'll see the title "Cookies." On the right there are more under "American Idol."

If you don't like tabloids or Hollywood gossip shows don't bother looking. All of these cookies, and some cupcakes, are Brittany, Mary Kate and the like. What interests me more is the remarkable job of decorating.

I have Kate Sullivan's book that has a section on portraits. I've gotta pull that out now and give it a try.

Warning: If you click on any of the other links you are on your own! There is a lot of odd and bizarre stuff on there. I didn't see anything pornographic or gross. Just really, really, odd.

The "STRAWBERRY LEMON ANTONELLA" cake is a naked girl covered in strawberries -- you don't see "anything.". I don't watch the show, but apparently this contestant posed for some risque photos. This cake is based on one of them.

My, the black icing lines are extremely fine!

I thought they were all pens, or put on afterward at first; but looking closer I see some are thin lines used as borders between colors.

S/he has real talent. I hope s/he will do more with cookies as she gets older.

Wow, really talented work A friend of mine has a teenage daughter that is really really talented with her drawings and painting. To some people, it just comes naturally.
