I am making one for my daughter. I have only seen ones done with a gumpaste made sleeping beauty. I wont be able to make one so I was going to use a real doll (barbie like sleeping beauty from the store)
Do you think that will look weird. I have going to make the bed but was thinking on putting her under the fondant cover. Dont know if that would look good on the outside w/it being a barbie type doll.

What do you think. Any types you would give.

Thanks

I don't think it would look weird. I have seen many cakes uploaded by CC members that are beautiful stacked round cakes, all decorated in theme colors with a doll/duckie or other store-bought figure on top. As long as you don't try to go overboard with the other decorations - keep them simple shapes/stripes with a neat border, I think the doll on top and complimentary colors will look classy. icon_smile.gif
