I am making a sheet cake, 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 vanilla.. I need advice on how to do this and have it come out right..should I just mix the two batches and pour them in at the same time or is there a trick to doing it??

Thanks
Wendy

When I do that, I make a "wall" out of a piece of cardboard, then pour one and then the other. If someone else is available it really helps to have them hold it. I use pudding in my batter, so it pretty thick and slow spreading. It the cake is large, sometimes I will just bake two separate cakes and put them side by side on the board with at little buttercream.

hope this helps,
Susan
