My daughter Kayti turned 3 yesterday and her party is tonight, at 1am I finished her Beauty and the Beast cake. I got a book on sculpting clay faces to get better...you know....have faces with cheekbones, chins, eyebrows... so I molded Belle's face out of modeling chocolate, and covered it in fondant.
The other characters are made out of fondant and painted.
The cake underneath is Chocolate cake with peanutbutter mousse and the cake under the skirt is chocolate cake with oreo buttercream filling.
When I crawled into bed this morning I whispered to my husband ..."I Rock"....cause I'm pretty modest but so proud of this one and Kayti got up this morning and danced around making sure her daddy and her brother saw her 'amazing' cake
