I have a bride that was scheduled for Oct. 25 th that wants to change to sometime in April. I had already purchased the stands and such. It is a specific order.

I charge 75.00 to hold the date. Do I charge her 75.00 again? What to venue's do for this situation?

If she does not change the structure of the cake I can still use the parts I have but if she wants to change that, I think I should charge for the other parts etc.
What do you all do/think?

Charge her the $75.00 again. You blocked out the Oct. 25th on your calendar for her and now will unlikely be able to book a wedding.

I wouldn't charge for teh stands. I'd consider it an inventory expense.

Thanks ccr03.

Anyone else care to tell what they would do? I guess I know what I should do but I don't have that as a clause in my contract. Does that matter or do I just tell ehr that's policy?
