I want to bake the Wilton Stand-up Cuddly Bear cake without the core. I've read here to turn the temp. down to 325 and bake for a longer period of time. Does anyone know exactly how long to bake it for without the core?

I would bake it for at least an hour and a half...I usually bake that cake for 1 hour and 10 minutes with a core so...Keep checking with a wooden skewer.

Thanks KiddieKakes!

I baked the cake using 1 3/4 boxes of Betty Crocker Super Moist Devil's Food Cake Mix at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes and it came out perfect! Thank you![/img]

I bought a used Stand Up Cuddly Bear Pan with no core and no clips; I can order the clips, but how do I cook without the Core?  Will the batter flow out of the large hole in the bear?  Should I cover it with foil?

Please advise; thank you!
