How does one use the sketches and patterns and templates from the gallery? I'm new to CC.

Click on the sketches gallery and open up any picture or sketch you like...save it to your computer files and then you can open it up and print from that file.

Thanks for that info. Hey, I like your story on how you got started in cake decorating. I'm thinking of taking some Wilton training as well when I get the time.
