I have been asked to make a square wedding cake for around 130-150 people. The bride said she didn't think she would need 3 tiers - I thought she might...so I thought I would ask.

How many tiers and what size cakes would I need to make?

Thanks

If you charge by the slice/serving, it doesn't make any difference if the cake is two or three tiers.....

However, the aesthetic presentation is greatly enhanced with a three tiered wedding cake, rather than two huge (squatty) tiers.

P.S. You also need to determine if the top (anniversary) cake tier is going to be saved by the bride & groom or served.
