I had been following the topic of "Meeting in Louisville" and for some reason there hasn't been any follow-up on the topic. We were planning on attending & I hope it will still happen. I was very interested to know if there is any cake clubs in KY because I would like some information on it or maybe some of us could decide to get together to make one. It would be so much fun to be able to meet with other decorators and talk "cake".

Update... Just found the updated topic of "meeting in Louisville". It is still on. I am still interested in knowing if there is a cake club or if one could be started especially after this meeting in Louisville.

I know this is an old post, but yes there are cake clubs in KY. The major one is ICES (http://kyices.com/), It meets 4 times per year and brings in people for 1 or 2 day classes a couple times each year. The location changes. The April meeting is in N. KY, the July meeting in Harrodsburg.

The Bluegrass Cake Club meets the first Monday of every month (except Jan.) in Lexington. 7pm at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. There is a demo at each meeting.

The Kentucky Cake Society (http://kycakesociety.webs.com/) also meets monthly, but I think the day changes. They meet at the Scott County Library.
