This is for anyone living on the east coast of Canada...there is a food/restaurant whole saler (TRA - cash and carry) that sells the cases (500 - $26. )of bubble tea straws. Here we call them slushy straws and they are twice the length of bubble tea straws...roughly12-14", I really should measure one and see.
Anyway...even though I don't need any because I already did my neices wedding cake, I bought a case to have on hand. It worked out cheaper for me to buy the case here rather than on the net and have them shipped from BC, these are also the longer ones. Worst case scenario I can use them at the pre-school!!
Just thought I would pass it along to others that may be in our area and looking as the straws work so well for supports.
