I have to do a cake for a party sat. However, I am crazy busy and have to do it at the beginning of the week. I have frozen my cakes in the past and they are ok, but this cake is too large and I can't fit it in the fridge. If I do it Monday or tuesday (completely decorated too w/ MMF) will it still taste fresh by sat? Any tips on how to wrap/ store it to keep it best? I woul appreciate any tips! Thanks all for your help!!!! icon_smile.gif

That is an awefully long time to be storing the cake. I have had cake that's sat out that long, and it was ok. I wouldn't want to serve it to people though...tagging it to my name. MMF usually holds moisture in, but I would think it would get some drying. If you really want/need to do this, you should keep it in a box, if its too tall for a bakery box, slide it into a cardboard box, tape all the flaps so that they stick up, and tape saran wrap over the top....
