I got this book that I ordered today Creative Cakes 3D Cakes Decorating by Carol Burgers off amazon.com, I am always looking for new ideas since I try to do something different for every cake I make.

So disappointed. EVERYTHING on cake central is way better than this book. Very poor figures, simple cakes and they look like children made them.

Collette Peters books are sometimes to hard for me and It seems like some important steps are left out of the directions.

Debbie Brown's books are my favorite and I finally broke down and ordered some of her expensive out of print books and waiting on those. She has a wedding cake book coming out in Oct and I have it on pre-order also.

Nicholas Lodge book I have on order.

Maisie Parrish books are the best for figures - she is amazing.

Was so excited that this one came so quickly and then so disappointed with the quality of the work in this book.

I was disappointed too. Very childish cakes and too many doll cakes!!
