Hi Everone,
I'm doing a cheeseburger cake in all fondant. I'm using the one on the pink cake box's website as inspiration.
Here it is
www.pinkcakebox.com/images/cake437.jpg

I'm doing the top and bottom bun out of fondant and the middle too...i'm using 14 inch rounds...my question is:
how do I do the burger ..do I roll the fondant under the burger (cake) so you can't see the bottom? Also, would I need a separator plate above the lettuce and pickels so that the top bun doesn't sit crooked above the lettuce and tomatoes? Any advise on how to do this would be appreciate.
Thanks
Anita

The picture looks like the top bun has cardboard under it. Ace of Cakes did a cheeseburger cake, they made the burger out of cake, but you could do rice krispes if cake it to heavey. I would roll the fondant under under the burger just enough so the bottom bun covers the it. I hope that sounds right. Good luck! It's a cute cake!
