i need to make a pistachio cake,so need to add the pudding mix. please help me here,has anyone try adding pudding mix to the cake WASC cake recipe.
Just adding pistachio pudding mix to the WASC cake recipe will result in cake failure.
Too much sugar (will upset the cake formula) so the cake will fall upon cooling.....

I'd try substituting the pudding mix for an equal amount of the sugar ...

ST. PATRICK'S DAY CAKE
1 pkg. white cake mix
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. 7-Up
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat for 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes, cool.
FROSTING:
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat for 2 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cake. Chill until served.
