Has anyone bought the DVD called:"Making More Fun Characters with Gumpaste- Arctic Friends by Kaye Unisa" and if so what is your opinion about it? Does it with the money?

Whew! $50?!?!? Does it make the animals for you? It's only 60 minutes, too. Hmmm, it definitely looks cute, and I would love to try it out, but that price is a little steep compared to other decorator's dvds out there.

Hope someone who actually has it can chime in! I would love to know if the dvd's worth it as well.

Have you watched Aine2's videos? She also has more tutorials available for purchase. She does the best characters.

I found a youtube video of the first Gumpaste Figures DVD by Petal Craft, and I have to say, Aine2's people (especially her bride & grooms) definitely look MUCH better!

YUP!!! I agree, I have all of Aine's videos and she is the best thus far and she doesn't charge an arm and half a leg for them either, lol.

I think we need to rally around Lorraine, and get her to make videos! I would buy them in a heartbeat if she offered them...especially the bride & groom!

Puh-leeze, Lorraine?!?!? Pretty please with sugar and sprinkles and more sugar and sprinkles? icon_lol.gif

She has quite a few little ones on youtube! Here's a link to her page: http://uk.youtube.com/user/aine2?ob=1

I just wish she would put some of her classes (like B&G) on a DVD! Man, that would be so SWEET thumbs_up.gif

You can also look for books/videos/sites on clay figures, there are a lot out there. Everything from fairies and mythical creatures to angels with wings and banners. Check out the clay sites (like fimo and sculpey.)
